The Sharkskin Heavy Duty Watersports Glove has a 2 layer amara palm and extra reinforcing on the inside of the thumb and over the top of the forefinger. Perfect for handling ropes, intense jigging for fish, and other water sports activities where you want extra protection from abrasion as well as the cold.

    Stood up to an 18th century beating.

    I recently spent a week working on an 18th century tallship and these gloves were amazing.

    Working with heavy coarse hemp and other fibre lines, climbing tarred rigging, or even helming the ship were a breeze.

    No chaffing or rope burn, comfortable fit, good padding on the palm where it's needed, great grip, and definitely kept the chill away while on watch. I'd highly recommend these gloves.

    Gloves proved great for paddle sports

    Grea product. I found these gloves to be perfect for surf and ocean ski paddling, great feel on the paddle especially with the index and middle finger cut out. Fixed the problem of cracked skin on my hands for this old body and no more hand cramps in winter. Very happy with this product! Member Caves Beach surf club.

    Good and comfortable fit. I used these specifically for kayaking. Have used other gloves, but found they wear between Thumb and pointer finger.

    Perfect for canyoning

    Loved these gloves for canyoning, the wetsuit material kept my hands warm, the three fingerless tops were great for setting up abseils and the thicker palms of the gloves kept the heat off my hands while rappelling. Well done Sharskin!!
