THERMAL FLEX LONG SLEEVE (MEN'S)

I’ve only used this thermal swim top once so far, during a 3 km ocean swim. I was impressed with the thermal performance—it definitely kept me warmer in the water.

For the first half of the swim it was very comfortable, but during the second half I started to notice chafing under my arms and around my neck. By the end of the swim the irritation was quite noticeable.

Once the chafing has settled down, I’ll give it another try using an anti-chafe cream on those areas to see if that resolves the issue, as I’d really like to keep using it. If you have a particular anti-chafe cream or product that you recommend for use with this swim top, I’d appreciate your advice.

Based on my first swim, the thermal performance is excellent, but the chafing was disappointing.

I must be getting older because I feel the chill of morning pool swims more each year. This long sleeve is just enough to make temps tolerable. The body fit is snug but long limbs means it rides up in sleeves & waist. Notwithstanding, it's comfortable in the water, has virtually no drag & keeps my core temp comfortable. I'm happy.

The thermal flex long sleeve has been my constant companion in the Unley Swimming Centre since it arrived. With the mornings decidedly cooler and the water correspondingly so, this garment has proved a welcome addition to my swimming outfit……it definitely keeps me warmer and does not rub, nor does it “drag” and slow me down when wet. Love it!
